THE LOVE STORY OF SOLEIDY & CRISTIAN

Rome possesses a timeless allure, especially when April’s light warms its ochre alleys. Here, Soleidy and Cristian—originally from the Dominican Republic—flew from the US to celebrate their love.

Seeking an intimate elopement, they trusted us to craft their perfect itinerary. For the ceremony, we found a secluded sanctuary. Surrounded by their mothers and little boy, they exchanged vows in Spanish. Hearing their native tongue echo against ancient Roman walls made the moment deeply solemn; an absolute honour to capture.

Following the celebration, our urban adventure began. With our trusted taxi driver, we seamlessly navigated the city to optimise our time. Our curated route spanned the eternity of the Colosseum, the elegance of the Spanish Steps, and the quietude of Villa Borghese. Yet, we captured their most spontaneous soul along poetic, cobbled streets like Via Margutta.

The perfect April climate highlighted their enthusiasm. Between shutter clicks, they shared their life story. For us, Silvia and Marco, this wasn’t just a photoshoot, but a day of genuine connection. Being the visual custodians of this incredible Roman elopement is exactly why we love what we do.
